Kutztown picks Del Val's Jim Clements as next football coach

Jim Clements, the winningest football coach in Delaware Valley College history, will be Kutztown University's next head coach, the school announced Wednesday evening. The 41-year-old Clements informed the Aggie players of the move during a team meeting in the afternoon.

Clements will replace Drew Folmar and become the Golden Bears' third head coach in the last three seasons. Raymond Monica, who led Kutztown to the school's first-ever PSAC title in 2011 and back-to-back NCAA Division II playoff appearances, left following the 2012 season to become head coach at Arkansas Tech.

Folmar, who was elevated from offensive coordinator to head coach after Monica's departure, stepped down in January after one season to become the offensive coordinator at Lehigh.
