* One SID chose not to participate

The voting rules asked the SID's to pick their first through ninth choice, but could not vote for their own school. The votes were then given a weighted average. First place votes received 9 points, 2nd place 8 points, etc. www.MACFB.com appreciated the SID's input since they are so knowledgeable of the leagues changing conditions.

Last year's co-league-champion Lycoming College enters the 2014 season with high expectations because of nine returning offensive letterman and a defense that features one of the best coaches, Steve Wiser (40+ Years at Lycoming) and Tanner Troutman, everyone's all-American defensive back.

Lebanon Valley, who shared the MAC Championship in 2013 and played in the playoffs and lost a number of starting players but will still be very competitive. They have a great defense lead by Senior all-American Frank Gaffney. Delaware Valley will have a new head football coach in Duke Greco who recently announced the hiring of Kory David as the Aggies' new defensive coordinator. The Aggies' have one of the best league QB's in Aaron Wilmer.

Widener is a team to watch. They also have a new coach this year in Mike Kelly, so will there be a new offensive scheme? They still have the best offensive player in the league in three preseason all-American wide receiver / returner Anthony Davis. Stevenson is still improving and should be very competitive. Albright and King's will have to work with squads that have substantial turnovers.

Most MAC teams will kick it off on September 6th.
