ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley College senior quarterback Brian Murphy has been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for leading an explosive offensive effort against Wilkes on Saturday.

Murphy had a superb day in LVC's 46-0 shutout, throwing for 286 yards and two touchdowns on 11-of-14 passing in just over two quarters of action. He completed his first six passes and found his first scoring strike on a 78-yard bomb to Tyler George early in the second quarter before hitting Darryl Sweeper from 43 yards. He later connected on a 44-yard pass to Joe Bennett to set up LVC's fourth and final touchdown of the second quarter to lead 33-0 and all but finish the day for the starting offense.

His yardage total was a career high, with three receivers - George (166 yards), Bennett (55 yards), and Sweeper (50 yards) - compiling 50 or more yards. It is Murphy's second career MAC Honor Roll appearance, after earning it in week 3 of the 2013 season.

The Dutchmen return to action Saturday at FDU-Florham.
