ANNVILLE, Pa. - Sophomore running back Brendon Irving has been named to the MAC Weekly Honor Roll for his play against Albright on Saturday.

Irving earned the honor after rushing for 177 yards on a career-high 36 carries against Albright, shouldering the bulk of LVC's offensive workload. He also scored a third-quarter touchdown that cut the Lion lead to 17-14. The sophomore ended the season on a tear, rushing for 100+ yards in his last five games and six of the last seven. He compiled 1,255 yards in 2014, the second-most ever in a season, while scoring nine touchdowns. Irving averaged 5.5 yards per carry this year.

It is Irving's third Honor Roll appearance this season and fourth of his career. He also earned the honor on Oct. 11 and Nov. 2.
