ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Lebanon Valley College seniors Tyler Dean and Frank Gaffney are headed to the Globe Bowl and National Pro Day in Allentown this April.

The pair will compete in the senior all-star game on April 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Salisbury Township Stadium in Allentown. The Fifth Annual National Pro Day combine will be held the two days prior, with scouts from the CFL and several arena leagues in attendance.

The game features all-stars from around the country at the Division I FCS, II, and III ranks. It will be the second post-season appearance for each; Dean played in the Dream Bowl in Virginia, while Gaffney attended the National Bowl in Miami. Both men were team captains in 2014.

Dean proved to one of LVC's most reliable and durable offensive linemen in his four-year career. The all-ECAC and first-team all-MAC pick started 39 times in four years, including all 10 games at left tackle in 2014, and was not individually responsible for a sack this season in pass protection. In the run game, Dean helped LVC average 4.1 yards per carry overall.

Gaffney played at both outside linebacker spots to earn First-Team All-MAC honors for the second straight season. The senior led LVC and was fifth in the MAC with 86 tackles, including 9.5 for a loss, and 3.5 sacks. The Cliff Harris Award finalist compiled four 10+ tackle games and earned MAC and ECAC Defensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 11. A USA College Football First-Team All-American, Gaffney was named a preseason all-American by five organizations, and was also placed on the CGS All-Star watchlist.
