Anthony Davis, who led the Widener football program to the NCAA tournament’s elite eight, accepted an invitation to try out at the Buffalo Bills’ rookie minicamp.

Davis (5-11, 190) is among 11 undrafted rookies slated to work Friday. The group includes just two wide receivers, the other E.J. Scott (5-10, 186) of Wake Forest.

The first-team All-Delco at Chester High led the Pride, who compiled a 12-1 record this past season, with 77 receptions for 1,247 yards (16.2 average) and 10 touchdowns. He also averaged 11.2 yards on a dozen punt returns and 21.5 yards on 16 kickoff returns.
