ANNVILLE, Pa. - Former Lebanon Valley College student-athletes Michael Harnish '15, Kevin Doty'15, and Tyler George '16 have joined Flying Dutchmen coaching staffs for the upcoming 2015 season. All three return to their former teams as assistants this fall.

Harnish will serve as an assistant coach for the men's and women's cross country programs, Doty will join the men's soccer staff, and George signs on as quarterbacks coach for the football team.

Harnish, a two-time indoor track & field all-American, was the national runner-up in the 800m at the NCAA indoor championships in March. He made four trips to NCAAs over the course of his career; two indoor and two outdoor. He is the reigning MAC Indoor and Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year and a was a two-time MAC First-Team All-Conference selection in 2014 thanks to his indoor 800m, mile, outdoor 800m, and 1500m conference titles.

Doty was a four-year starter for LVC's men's soccer team and helped lead the Dutchmen to the ECAC championship game as a junior in 2013. The midfielder netted seven goals and added eight assists for 22 total points over the course of his career. He recorded three game-winners against former conference rival Elizabethtown as a freshman in 2011, Frostburg State in ECAC play in 2013, and Gywnedd Mercy this past fall.

George transferred to LVC from Muhlenberg in 2013 and made an immediate impact on the gridiron. The wide receiver was named the football team's offensive MVP in 2014, a season he capped with a Second-Team All-MAC selection and a Dream Bowl Senior All-Star Game appearance. His senior campaign was one of the best in program history by a wideout as he hauled in 59 passes for 932 yards and 12 touchdowns.
