O’HARA GARNERS MIDDLE ATLANTIC CONFERENCE SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

ANNVILLE, Pa. – After helping the Pride to a convincing 43-20 victory over King’s on Saturday, senior kicker Ryan O’Hara (Royersford, Pa.) was named the Middle Atlantic Conference “Special Teams Player of the Week”, as announced by the league on Sunday.

O’Hara was 3-for-4 in field goals with a long of 38 yards in a 43-20 win over King’s. The senior kicker also recorded four points-after-touchdowns (PATs). O’Hara also had field goals from 24 yards and 30 yards. He recorded nine kickoffs for a total of 556 yards with one touch back, averaging 61.8 yards per kickoff.

Malik Pressley, an FDU-Florham wide receiver, named MAC Offensive Player of the Week after a 34-29 victory over The College of New Jersey. The sophomore recorded a school-record 309 receiving yards, and tying a program record four touchdown receptions.

Antonio Johnson, a defensive back for the Stevenson Mustangs, earned MAC Defensive Player of Week honors after a 38-14 victory over Lycoming. Johnson recorded two interceptions, including one for a 57-yard touchdown.

Widener will continue the Middle Atlantic Conference schedule on Saturday when they travel to Reading, Pa. to take on Albright at 1 p.m.
