READING, Pa. –
Albright senior linebacker Grant Boehler will play in the National Bowl All-Star Game on Sunday in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Boehler, a team captain, finished his career with 184 total tackles, nine sacks and five interceptions. After being named First Team All-MAC as a junior in 2016, Boehler followed that with another selection to the First Team as a senior this season.

In 2017, Boehler recorded a career-high 83 tackles with 9.5 tackles for loss. He finished third in the MAC in tackles. He also had four interceptions this year, ranking second on the team and seventh in the conference in that category.

The National Bowl Game creates an exciting scouting opportunity for top-level senior talent from the NCAA Division II and Division III. The National Bowl is one of the only elite non-FBS post-season all-star games that see a significant scout turnout from NFL teams. The bowl rosters are unique in that they give the NFL, CFL, and additional scouts a chance to view and get to know some of the best players from smaller schools.

You can watch Boehler in the National Bowl on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. by clicking the link at the top of the story.
