Dickerson, Baylor Named D3football.com All-East Region

MINNEAPOLIS  The Albright football team had two players named to the D3football.com 2017 All-East Region Team, announced Wednesday by the organization. Kyle Dickerson and Isaiah Baylor were each named to the Third Team. Dickerson earned a spot as a returner while Baylor was one of two Third Team defensive ends.


Teams were selected based only on regular season performance.

Dickerson was named All-MAC Second Team as a returner while also earning Second Team honors as a wide receiver. During the regular season, Dickerson ranked second in the MAC with 1,397 all-purpose yards, while ranking third on the team with a career high 617 receiving yards with three touchdown receptions, and he led the team with 55 catches in 10 games.

Dickerson established himself as one of the most dangerous returners in the conference with 414 kick return yards and 295 punt return yards. His special team presence was most notable with an 80-yard punt return for a touchdown against FDU-Florham.

Baylor earned All-MAC First Team as a defensive end. Baylor performed at a star level on the Lions' defensive line this season by posting 63 tackles, and team-bests with 18 tackles for loss and seven sacks. He also ranks third in the conference in tackles for loss and sacks as well. The senior led all of Division III with six forced fumbles during the regular season.

The teams, selected in balloting by East Region sports information directors and D3football.com staff, were chosen from 321 nominations by Division III member schools. A total of 77 players were chosen.
