"Fifteen MAC players were included on the All-ECAC team."
CENTERVILLE, MA – Wilkes University senior linebacker Tate Moore-Jacobs was named to the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South All-Star Second Team as announced by the organization late Wednesday afternoon.

It marks the second consecutive year Moore-Jacobs was selected to the team. It is also Moore-Jacobs third honor since the end of the 2013 season as he was named First Team All-MAC for the fourth straight year and selected to play in the DIII Senior Classic last week.

Moore-Jacobs concluded his fine career in the Navy and Gold reaching the 100+ tackles mark for the third time in his four seasons at Wilkes. He finished with 104 stops, ranking second behind the conference leader (116) averaging 10.4 tackles per-game.
He also caused havoc in opposing teams backfields totaling 10.0 tackles-for-loss and one sack. In pass defense, Moore-Jacobs also improved claiming one interception while breaking up four passes throughout the year. He finished his Wilkes career with 449 tackles, reaching double figure stops in 29 of 40 career games.

Fifteen MAC players were included on the All-ECAC team. Widener wide receiver Anthony Davis was named the ECAC South Offensive Player of the Year, while teammate quarterback Seth Klein was selected as the Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Other MAC selections were Lebanon Valley’s Evan Fink (fullback), Brendan Kozub (offensive line), Kevin Smith (defensive line), and Frank Gaffney (linebacker); Delaware Valley’s William Carter (offensive line), Danny Wynne (defensive back), and John Wallace (offensive line); Albright’s Josh Barndt (offensive line), Drew Peterson (defensive back), Dan Sobolewski (kicker), and TJ Luddy (punter); Widener’s Shakore Philip (defensive line).
