ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley College and Delaware Valley College will team up to help fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy as part of the Sixth Annual Coach To Cure MD Game this Saturday at Arnold Field.
Coaching staffs from both teams will wear Coach to Cure MD patches to show their support for the program, which raises awareness of Duchenne MD, a progressive muscle disorder that causes loss of muscle function and independence. The disorder affects approximately one out of every 3,500 boys and 20,000 babies born each year worldwide.

Eight year-old Levi Hains of South Lebanon will be LVC's honorary captain for the fifth straight year. Levi was diagnosed with Duchenne MD at age 2, and since then, his family have been advocates in the community for raising awareness in the fight against the disorder and fundraising to find a cure.
