Aggies coach Duke Greco knew their Middle Atlantic Conference showdown of unbeatens Saturday vs. No. 20 Lycoming fit that category.

“The last time we wore those jerseys with those pants, we beat Widener here for the MAC championship in 2011,” Greco said about that victory, which had capped an undefeated regular season. “We knew this was a big, big game, and we just wanted to bring back the uniforms; I don’t think it was the uniforms, but I’ll take any luck we could get.”

With 611 yards of total offense and more points at Robert A. Lipinski Field at James Work Memorial Stadium than Lycoming had surrendered the entire first half of the season combined, DelVal’s 52-42 Homecoming victory sent the Warriors into their bye week with their first loss this season.
The Aggies (5-0 overall, 4-0 MAC) have earned a first-place tie with Widener (5-0, 4-0), currently on its bye week and the next opponent for Lycoming (5-1, 4-1).

Greco’s jersey idea wasn’t spur-of-the-moment.
