Delaware Vallley Football - Aggies jump up in national polls

DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Ahead of the winner-take all battle with archrival Widener University, the Delaware Valley College football team has moved up multiple spots in both the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and the Top 25 polls.

The Aggies went from 17th to 15th in the AFCA rankings thanks to 471 points. In the poll, they moved three positions from 19th to 16th after racking up 237 points.

Widener moved up one spot in both polls as the Pride are 10th in the coaches' rankings and 12th in the poll.

Delaware Valley and Widener are both 9-0 overall and 8-0 in the conference. The two will meet in Chester, Pennsylvania this Saturday, November 15 (1:00 p.m. kickoff) with the winner claiming the MAC championship and an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III playoffs.
