OWINGS MILLS, Md. - After totaling a game-high nine tackles and two interceptions, Stevenson football sophomore defensive back Antonio Johnson was named to the Team of the Week announced on Tuesday.

Johnson is the first Mustang to be named to the Team of the Week since Stevenson began football in 2011. In the opening three weeks of the season, the Mustangs (3-0, 2-0 MAC) have totaled two Middle Atlantic Conference Defensive Players of the Week and two ECAC Division III South Defensive Players of the Week.

Last week, Johnson earned the MAC and ECAC honors after totaling two interceptions, including a 57-yard one returned for a touchdown, and nine tackles. With two interceptions for the second-straight week in the win over Lebanon Valley, Johnson now shares the nation's lead with four.

Stevenson looks to match its best start to a season when the Mustangs welcome Misericordia to Mustang Stadium for a Middle Atlantic Conference contest. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
