ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley College's Blue & White Club celebrates the arrival of a new athletics season, embarking on its second year in support of Flying Dutchmen athletics. The club was established to provide fundraising support for 24 athletic teams and demonstrates LVC's commitment to a balanced, broad-based intercollegiate athletics program emphasizing the academic success, health, and welfare of more than 500 student-athletes.

"Being a member of the LVC athletics community is among the most rewarding experiences during my time at LVC," said Cynthia Adams '14, '16 DPT, the 2015 NCAA Indoor Track & Field 800m national champion and physical therapy major. "Being a student-athlete allowed me to develop strong friendships with teammates while working to excel in my sport. When I look back at the person I was as a freshman compared to the person I have become now, it is evident to me that athletics was a major contributor to my personal growth."

Adams' national championship victory is just one of a number of highlights from the 2014-15 athletic campaign that saw ten Dutchmen student-athletes earn all-America honors, two CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-America selections, three conference championships, and a record 215 MAC Academic Honor Roll honorees who carried a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
