Lebanon Valley Football - Brendon Irving Named MAC Offensive Player of the Week

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley running back Brendon Irving has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week.

Irving accounted for two touchdowns in LVC's 56-14 Homecoming victory over FDU-Florham on Saturday afternoon. The junior tailback rushed 23 times for 128 yards and a touchdown, averaging 5.6 yards per carry. The MAC's leading rusher also hauled in a 61-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Tim Pirrone early in the first half. Irving has rushed for 100-plus yards in 11 consecutive games dating back to last season. For the year, he's racked up 816 yards and four scores on the ground to go along with two receiving touchdowns.

The Flying Dutchmen have their bye coming up next weekend. LVC gets back to conference play at Wilkes on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 24. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
