Mr. MAC - My Football Picks Week 7 with a nail biter finish

Mr. MAC - My Football Picks Week 7
My YTD Record 17 Wins - 6 Losses (0.739)
Lycoming Vs King's (A MACfb.com File Photo)
SATURDAY October 17
Lycoming 28 Vs King's 24 (Game of the Week)
Lycoming vs King's has become a rivalry in the MAC. Many times the obvious favorite team looses the game. This year both the Warriors and the Monarchs are 1-4 and trying to stay out of the lower tier of the MAC standings. With two weeks of preparations, each team has plenty of time to analyze supplied game film. I look for each team to change their normal playing scheme and throw in new wrinkles into the mix.

The Monarch offense is last in the MAC averaging 249.6 yards of total offense. They are seventh with 159.2 passing yards and ninth in rushing at 90.4 yards each contest. The defense enters the game ranked seventh in total MAC defense, allowing 392.0 yards of total offense per-game. King's is eighth against the run in yielding 204.0 yards while standing sixth against the pass in permitting 188.0 yards through the air.  I look for the Warriors to sneak past King's in another nail biting down to the last play game. Winner, Lycoming!

Albright 35 Vs FDU-Florham 14
What can you say other than if FDU-Florham wins this game, it would be the shot heard around the world. This is what makes this game dangerous for Albright. Will the Lions be looking ahead to the October 24th game with DelVal and forget about playing football this week? I don't think so, but it will make the score closer than you would expect. Albright remains undefeated.

Misericordia 7 Vs Widener 42
Widener will have little trouble with the Courgars at their house. Widener is still in the running for a share of the MAC Championship and Misericordia will not stand in the way this week. Wideners go to 4-1 in the MAC and 4-2 overall.
