DelVal Football Ranked 13th In Lindy's Preseason Poll

DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University football team is once again ranked in a national Division III preseason poll as the Aggies are 13th in theLindy's college football preseason publication.

DelVal is the lone Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) school in Lindy's Top 25. The publication provides one line of information on all of its top 25 teams and writer Dominic DiRienzo stated the following about the Aggies: "13. Delaware Valley – Shawn Miller led Aggies with four INTs, including 100-yard pick-six.

DelVal, which had 20 new starters on the field at the end of the 2015 campaign, is coming off a 9-2 season, including a victory over Moravian College in Inaugural Centennial-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Bowl Series. It marked the 12th time in the last 13 years that the Aggies reached the postseason.

DelVal's first opponent for the 2016 campaign, Wesley College, is ranked fourth by Lindy's. The Wolverines reached the NCAA Division III quarterfinals for the seventh straight year before bowing out to eventual national champion University of Mount Union.

The Aggies, who last played Wesley in 2010, will make the trip to Dover, Delaware for the '16 opener on Friday night, September 2 (7:00 p.m.).
