He also forced one fumble, recovered another, broke up a pair of passes and blocked a punt. He was pegged the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week after a win over Stevenson in October and was named LVC's 2017 Special Teams MVP. He also earned a spot on the MAC Academic Honor Roll.

Jenkins appeared in all 10 games at the strong safety spot and finished the year with two interceptions, including a memorable late-game pick that sealed a Homecoming victory over Stevenson in October. He also made 25 total tackles, forced one fumble, and recovered another.

Wise, one of LVC's big-bodied wide receivers, appeared in all 10 games last fall and made nine catches on the season for 121 yards. His longest reception of the season went for 35 yards and he averaged 12.1 yards per catch.
